This is a Review of Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
What is Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid and How Does It Work?
The chemical exfoliant Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid contains 4% Betaine Salicylate, which is a milder form of Salicylic Acid but just as effective as 2% Salicylic Acid. BHA unclogs pores, resulting in clearer, smoother skin. Since BHA can dissolve oil while AHA can’t, it’s generally accepted as the best option for blackheads. When compared to the Pimple Clear Pads, this liquid is far more effective.
Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid is a transparent, water-like liquid. The acids used in its creation give it a distinct chemical aroma. This is the least drying of the BHA exfoliants, so it’s great for dry skin. An initially tacky application gives way to a pleasant, long-lasting finish. I did not feel any itching or tingling due to dryness. I use my fingers and a light pressing motion to apply it. Some people recommends that you wait 20 minutes after using a BHA product.
Because I am a slacker, I usually wait the five or so minutes it takes for it to dry before continuing with the rest of my routine. In terms of efficacy, it is not a miracle worker against blackheads. It’s going to take some time for them to go down. Blackheads require a lot of upkeep, and I doubt any product can eliminate them permanently, unless you opt for manual extraction. The effect of brightening and smoothing was particularly appealing to me. By eliminating the buildup that causes blocked pores, the skin’s texture and tone are greatly enhanced. The breakouts it helped heal and prevent were acne and whiteheads.
For my combination skin, I found that the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid worked wonderfully. It’s a mild BHA product that does a great job of exfoliating, unclogging pores, and brightening the skin. Although BHAs are typically prescribed for acneic and oily skin, this product would work wonders on dry, acne-prone skin as well.
