Review of Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser
Since Cosrx low pH good morning gel cleanser is a popular Korean cleaner, I had great hopes for it. Significant ingredients include Saccharomyces Ferment (a powerful anti-aging ingredient that brightens, hydrates, and firms up skin), Tea Tree Oil (an excellent acne controller and healer), Cryptomeria Japonica Leaf Extract (which stimulates skin renewal, resulting in a smoother and softer skin texture), and low concentrations of Betaine Salicylate (a milder form of Salicylic Acid that helps with acne). The pH of Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser is just right, at 5, to protect the skin’s equilibrium. It has no synthetic fragrances yet smells strongly of Tea Tree Oil because that is what it is.
The consistency is pleasant, like a clear gel. You only need a tiny amount to thoroughly wash your face and neck. The cleanser does not produce a lot of foam, but it lathers well enough to make for a gentle washing. It removes quickly with water and doesn’t leave behind any slimy residue. The cleanser does a fantastic job of getting rid of sunscreen, oils, grime, and other nasties off the skin. Even delicate cosmetics like eyeliner and mascara is no match for this.
I’ve used this throughout the winter, summer, spring, and fall on a wide variety of skin types. I felt that this cleanser could be a little drying on my skin at times, thus I found it to be best suited for the summer and oily skin days. To this point, I haven’t experienced any new breakouts after using the cleanser. It’s effective as a back acne treatment and as a body wash.
Overall, the Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser is an efficient and effective cleanser that leaves the skin feeling fresh and clean. Some people may find that it dries out their skin, therefore it’s possible that it’s not the best cleanser for everyone. Also, some people with sensitive skin may find that tea tree oil irritates their skin. This Cosrx cleaner was quite pleasant to use for me. This isn’t my HG, but it’s definitely worth a go.
