Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50 PA+++ Ultimate Review

Some of the Korean cosmetics I bought came with free samples, and among them was this Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream. First, I should probably tell you that I tend to look more closely at the sunscreen’s ingredients than at the packaging. This product contains the UV filter Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, which I try to avoid because of its potential endocrine disrupting effects. This sunscreen has alcohol, fragrance, silicones, and other ingredients that can cause acne. Quite frankly, I am not thrilled with the list of ingredients, so I probably won’t be purchasing this item. Anyway, this is what happened when I tried some of the samples.

Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream is formulated to look and feel like a fairness cream. It’s a rich cream with the signature floral aroma. Even so, it disperses effectively and is rapidly absorbed. It gives skin a dewy, hydrated look and feel. This SPF protection is ideal for those with normal, combination, or dry skin. This sunscreen didn’t bother my sensitive skin at all. Unlike the Klairs UV Essence, it did not increase my sweating and did not leave my skin feeling sticky. Some sunscreens, like the Cosrx Sun Cream, don’t leave a white cast on the skin.

As a sunscreen, it does a decent job. My only complaint pertains to the components, specifically the ingredients.
