Review of Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pad

Acne sufferers will find great relief from using Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pad (s). It has 1% Betaine Salicylate BHA and 85% willow bark water, which is a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient that helps calm acne. It works by unclogging pores and preventing pimples. Because of the low concentrations of these active ingredients, even people who are new to chemical exfoliation can try it.

It is common practice to use exfoliating pads that have already been soaked in water as the second step (the “toning step”) of a skincare routine, following the cleansing step. The pad is embossed on one side to loosen embedded dirt and grime, and smooth on the other to pick up what’s left. All of the pads are saturated to the point where they can be used anywhere on the body, not just the face and neck. It’s to the point where the pad is drenched. Occasionally, the exfoliating pad’s inclusion of tea tree oil has resulted in a slight tingling sensation for those with extra-sensitive skin. On other days, there was no tingling at all; it felt completely normal.

Unlike many other exfoliating products, these pads won’t leave your skin feeling dry. This does feel tacky at first, but that goes away after a minute or two, right before it dries. The manufacturer suggests using it daily because of its mild nature. Even though it’s gentle, I still think using it only three times a week is plenty. My skin didn’t seem any better after using this, if at all. On a few occasions while using this, I awoke with whiteheads. The pads are scented with a combination of tea tree oil and chemical acid. This isn’t overpowering but may be off-putting to people with particularly sensitive noses.

Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pad is a nice product, but I don’t think my skin actually required it. Because of its mild nature, it does not produce striking results. Overall, this is a good option to try if you are new to using exfoliating acids. It is also good as a ready-to-use exfoliating pad.
